About me
I am a qualified Buteyko Breathing Method instructor (BBMcert) with a degree in psychology (BSc hons). After learning about the effectiveness of the Buteyko breathing methods I was lucky enough to train with Patrick McKeown, founder of The Oxygen Advantage and The Buteyko Clinic International. I want to share this powerful toolkit with others and believe that this is something that everyone can benefit from learning, whether they suffer from asthma or health issues that don’t at first appear to stem from breathing dysfunction.
Since studying psychology, I’ve been passionate about mental health and how it cannot be isolated from physical health. The mind affects the body, the body affects the mind, and underpinning everything is the breath.
It’s incredible how we can use simple breathwork to affect our mental and physical state leading to better sleep, less anxiety, better exercise performance and much more.
Based in Auckland, I’m available for groups or one-to-one in person and online consultations for both adults and children.

Classes and workshops
The breathing techniques you will learn will essentially work to re-train your breathing, bringing with it the health benefits that inefficient breathing takes away.
Knowing how to breathe functionally means that you will be able to tackle health conditions such as anxiety, asthma, snoring, reflux, poor sleep and boost your energy and fitness levels. It will also improve your concentration and focus.

Courses for children over 6 are designed specifically for kids. Parents attend kids classes with children so they can learn alongside them and practice together.
